Danielle Mellin Ardity, Ph.D., has been a practicing licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Florida for over a decade. She provides comprehensive assessment and treatment services for children, adolescents and adults. Furthermore, Dr. Ardity has developed an expertise in conducting comprehensive and specialized psychoeducational and psychological evaluations. Dr. Ardity was raised in South Florida. She has worked with most of the private schools and various public schools in the area.

SERVICES:
Dr. Ardity provides individualized services to meet the unique needs of each client.

After completion of the report, Dr. Ardity meets with the family to discuss the results. She also meets with the school to ensure that the student receives support and accommodations necessary.

THERAPY
Dr. Ardity provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Therapy is based on the individual needs of each client and designed so the client feels comfortable and safe throughout the entire process.

Dr. Ardity uses cognitive behavioral therapy, coaching techniques, and/or play to evaluate and treat emotional and behavioral issues. She works with issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, behavioral disorders, developmental disorders, trauma and life transitions. Dr. Ardity’s therapeutic work with children also provides effective parenting techniques and guidance for parents in developing effective positive home environments. She aids clients in learning skills and making life changes that lead to a more richer and fulfilling life.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Dr. Ardity received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She went on to earn her Master’s and Doctorate in Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego. Dr. Ardity completed her Post-Doctoral Training in the APA Accredited Program at the Children’s Psychiatric Center in Miami, Florida. She is a member of the Florida Psychological Association. Dr. Ardity has over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist and in psychological assessment.
